Effective consultation and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders of the Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL) is key to sustaining the Bank’s business. Our stakeholders refer to those individuals and or various groups that have an interest in the operations of the Bank; affect and are affected by its activities, services, and performance. CBL’s broad stakeholder base includes employees, government, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and the public.
To interact meaningfully with the public, CBL has a CSR Policy in place. The Policy particularly provides guidelines within which the Bank may extend a helping hand through donations and sponsorships to various qualifying social groups, organizations, and communities in line with
the priority areas under it.
In creating both short and long-term partnerships with beneficiaries, the Bank focuses on areas where investments affect the lives of the poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Lesotho.
